Report of the 2nd Japan Wheelchair Rugby Championships
2nd Japan Wheelchair Rugby Championships were held November 24 to 25 in Chiba.
This year sixty five players from nine local teams participated in the tournament, including two international players; Brad Dubberley from Australia and Geremy Tinker from New Zealand. We had two round robins dividing the nine teams into two leagues and a final tournament to decide a winning team in 2000.
Also, JWRF invited an international referee, Gilles Briere of Canada for refereeing. He whistled five games and the final. Team Festae from Tokyo won the championship.
