2001 Post Season Information Once again the USQRA post-season is upon us. This is the time of year when teams are putting in that extra work to help them advance from Regionals to Sectionals, and ultimately on to compete for a National Championship. We wish you all the very best in achieving your goals. Along
with the post-season comes the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Each year the
USQRA Board and its membership meet to discuss and set policy for the
upcoming season. Important issues such as rules, equipment, transfers,
classification and many other issues are discussed and voted on.
The election of USQRA Board members will take place as well. This
years AGM will be held on Thursday, April 5th in San Diego,
California preceding the Division I and Division II National
Championships. Every team in the league is encouraged to have their
representative present at this important meeting, as policy that affects
our association will be made. If
you have issues to be discussed, or questions about this years AGM please
contact USQRA President, Ed Suhr at (503) 238-1324 or by email at esuhr@aol.com

Board Positions Available
The
positions of Commissioner, Vice-President and Treasurer are each up for
election at this years AGM. Serving as a USQRA Board member provides a great opportunity
to help your association move forward, and also gives members a way to
give back to their sport. All
positions are on a volunteer basis and last for a two-year period. If
you, or someone that you know of is interested in running for one of these
positions please contact USQRA Secretary, Bob Jackson at (630) 960-5588 or
by e-mail at rhja@msn.com. A list of job
descriptions and other details will be provided on request. USQRA Post-Season Auction I’m
pleased to announce that the USQRA has
acquired several wheelchairs and other items to be auctioned off here on
the web. Thanks to our post-season sponsors to be announced soon, we will
have a variety of sport and everyday wheelchairs, as well as some of the
coolest chair accessories around. All proceeds raised will be distributed to post-season
tournament hosts following Nationals. More
