HOUSING – All team housing must go through our office.  Teams will be housed on campus and will be within pushing distance from the competition venue.  If necessary, we will use a hotel locates approximately one mile from the venue with transportation being provided to and from the facility.  The housing on campus is composed of large houses and group lodges.  Each room has an accessible, private bath.  There will be 2-4 people per room with each room housing 2-4 beds.  The lodges each have a large great room with a fireplace, TV/VCR and phones.  The decks overlook our 12 acre lake.

MEALS – Breakfast and dinner will be served in the Camp Dream Dining Hall and lunch will be at the competition venue.  Three hot meals per day are served buffet style.  The meals are nutritious and are prepared with athletes in mind.

OTHER RECREATION – The Sports Training Program has a number of recreation opportunities including a game room, golf course, paved outdoor hiking trails, indoor and outdoor pools and a lake for fishing and boating.  You must bring your own equipment if you would like to fish.

Tournament format:                   The tournament will be a USQRA approved 8-team tournament consisting of two 4-team pools with crossovers.  Each team will play 5 games.  You will find the schedule attached.  As the regional tournaments are completed and the teams for the Atlantic Sectional are secured, we will post an official schedule with the tournament seedings on the web.

Team fees:                                $50.00 per person per day

INCLUDES ground transportation to/from Hartsfield International Airport (Atlanta), 3 hot meals a day, and lodging.

Roosevelt Sports Training Program and USQRA will be responsible for tournament souvenirs, awards, tournament administration, and official/ classifier transportation and fees.

Transportation:                          AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION: Transportation will be provided to/ from Hartsfield International Airport (Atlanta).  Teams are required to arrive as a group.

Ø      The bus will meet ALL airport pickups outside the North (Blue) Terminal, Lower Level Parking.  When returning to the airport, you will also be dropped off here.

TEAM TRANSPORTATION: Transportation on campus will ONLY be provided in the event of inclement weather.  If additional team housing is used off campus, transportation will be provided between the hotel and the gym (1 mile from facility).

DRIVING:  If you have an athlete/staff driving in, please indicate their estimated arrival time.  Registration and check-in for on campus housing is only open until 10:00 PM.  If you will be arriving later than 10:00 PM, we will have to make arrangements for you.  Registration will be in the Center for Therapeutic Recreation Building

ADDITIONAL TRANSPORTATION NEEDS: Additional transportation needs will be the responsibility of each team.  While it is not required, some teams have found that having one vehicle available for unexpected team needs is a nice perk.  The airport has ample car rental companies, and each company had the availability of hand controls.

Additional housing:                    Additional housing for family and friends will be available at Meriwether Country Inn (Downtown Warm Springs – 1 mile from facility).  The rooms are reserved under USQRA Atlantic Sectional Championship – 706-655-9099.

Ø      For those who can access an upstairs room, please request one.  Only half of the rooms are downstairs.  It is not a big motel, but it is nice.  There are restaurants and shops within pushing distance of the motel.
