Dear Coach/ Team Representative,

Please accept this letter as an invitation for the 7^th Capital City Clash Rugby Tournament in Montgomery, Alabama.  The following is information regarding the tournament.

1.         DATE: The tournament will be held at the Montgomery Therapeutic Recreation Center on the weekend of November 15-17, 2002.     

2.         REGISTRATION: Registration fee is $200.00 per team and $125.00 per team that brings a certified referee, when paid on or before Friday, October 25, 2002.  The check should be made payable to: MTRC Adapted Sports Program. Please send check and team information to the Montgomery Therapeutic Recreation Center, 604 Augusta St. Montgomery, Alabama 36111.

3.         AWARDS: Trophies will be awarded to the top four teams.  In addition to a trophy, the first place team will receive free accommodations (4 rooms at host hotel) for the next year’s tournament.

4.         MEALS: Meals will be provided each day. (Friday – Dinner, Saturday – Lunch & Dinner, Sunday – Lunch).

5.         REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  The registration deadline is OCTOBER 25, 2002.

6.         FORMAT: This is an eight-team open invitational round robin tournament.  This invitation is extended to any team that desires to play. Only the first eight will be selected.

7.         LODGING: Ramada Inn Airport located at 1100 W. South Boulevard is the official hotel for this year’s tournament.  A block of rooms have been reserved at  $39.00 per night plus tax.  Each team is responsible for making their reservations. A block of rooms have been reserved under Capital City Clash. To make reservations call (334) 281-1660.

8.         SHUTTLE:  Transportation will be provided from airport to hotel and from hotel to games.
