“2004 Demolition Derby”
Dear Team Representative,
The Lakeshore Demolition will host the Eighth Annual Lakeshore Demolition
Derby Invitational Rugby tournament from January 30-February 1, 2004. As
of September 12, 2003 the following teams have expressed interest in
attending: Lakeshore Demolition, TNT, Canada Nordiques, Canada Ice, Japan,
New Zealand, Belgium, “The Devils” Germany, Australia, Texas Stampede,
Great Britain, and the Phoenix Heat.
This is a twelve-team tournament. Games will begin on Friday morning.
Entry Fee: There will be a $400 entry fee for every team. We
will also charge an additional fee for teams traveling in early (prior to
Thursday, January 29) of $100 per day. We will confirm entries upon
receipt of entry fee, roster, and travel information. Please make checks
payable to: Lakeshore Foundation.
Lodging: The tournament hotel is the Holiday Inn-Oxmoor. We have a
block of rooms held at a rate of $55.00 per night. Call (205) 942-2041 for
reservations re: Lakeshore Foundation Block.
Transportation: We will provide transportation for those filling
out transportation requests. Please submit all information no later than
December 25, 2003.
