The
United States Quad Rugby Association (USQRA) and BlazeSports are pleased
to announce that several Wheelchair Rugby clinics are now confirmed to
take place during the upcoming months. Each clinic will be held over a 3
to 4 day period and will be designed for both the new and intermediate
players alike. Clinics will be taught by an experienced staff of top USQRA
coaches and athletes, and should provide a fun and exciting experience for
everyone who attends.
Wheelchair Rugby, aka, Quad Rugby is the fastest growing wheelchair sport
in the world today. It is a fast paced team sport that is played indoors
on a modified basketball court by individuals who are quadriplegic, or
have similar type disabilities. There are more than thirty-five teams here
in the United States and the success and popularity of the game has made
it a Paralympic sport.
