Dear Team Representative,

The Portland Pounders proudly invite you to the “2005 USQRA Pacific Sectional Tournament”.  The tournament will be held March 11^th, 12^th and 13^th at Reynolds Middle School in Gresham, OR.  We are expecting an eight team event with games starting at 5pm Friday and finishing by 5pm on Sunday. We will provide transportation, lunches, t-shirts and referees’ fees.

Rooms are being held under “Wheelchair Rugby” and must be reserved by February 18^th.  The cost is $80/night.  One team member should call with a list of names or fax a room list.  Please fax your room list to Cami Pollack at 503 254-0993.  

Directions to the Shilo Inn

From North of Portland: Go South on I-205, take the Airport Exit (#24) after crossing the Columbia River. Turn left at first light (go East, under the freeway), the hotel is ahead on the left.

From South of Portland: Go North on I-205, take the Airport Way exit (#24B) and go East. The hotel ahead on the left.

Directions to Reynolds Middle School

From Hotel: Turn left out of hotel parking lot onto Airport Way. Follow Airport Way for approximately 10 minutes. Go under I-84 and go to 2nd light (Halsey). Make a left onto Halsey, follow Halsey to 201st Ave. The school is on the corner of Halsey and 201st. Go across 201st and make a right into the parking lot on Halsey. The gym entrance is on that side of the school.

From Seattle/I-205: Take I-205 South to I-84 East, take the 181st Ave exit. Take a right at the light, then a left at the next light onto Halsey. Follow Halsey to 201st Ave. The school is on the corner of Halsey and 201st. Go across 201st and make a right into the parking lot on Halsey. The gym entrance is on that side of the school.

We will be serving lunches at the gym on Saturday and Sunday.  The hotel has a continental breakfast buffet each morning, which is complimentary. There is also restaurant in the hotel and a cheaper alternative across the street. 

I have also enclosed a roster and transportation form.  Please fill them out and return them to me by the 18^th.  I will be sending a schedule and directions as soon as seeding has been decided.
