Mountain Sectional Playoffs

The Denver Harlequins and the United States Quad Rugby Association invites you to the U.S.Q.R.A Sectional Championships in Denver, Colorado. The tournament will be held March 10,11,12 (Fri., Sat., Sun.) 2000 at Craig Rehabilitation Center. 3425 S. Clarkson St. Engelwood, CO 80110

TRANSPORTATION: Scheduled transportation to and from Denver International Airport and your hotel will be provided. There will be scheduled transportation between the gymnasium and the hotel.

TEAM CHECK-IN: The tournament check in will be 1:00 p.m. at the Hotel and continue at gymnasium before the games on Friday, March 10, 2000.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE: Play has been tentatively scheduled as follows:
Friday, march, 10 1:00 p.m..- 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, march 11, 9:00 a.m.- 6:30p.m.
Sunday, march 12, 9:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m.
Award Ceremony 2:00 p.m.

MEALS: Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost to team members and 3 support person (must be listed on roster) on Saturday and Sunday.

T-SHIRTS/SOUVENIRS: Teams are encouraged to sell their T-shirts and other souvenirs. Each team/party wanting to sell items at the tournament must give one item to the tournament to be used as door prizes.

VIDEO TAPING: Video taping will be permitted with approval of the tournament director and referees.

EQUIPMENT STORAGE: Game chairs and equipment may be stored overnight in a secured location at the gymnasium.

ENVIRONMENT: Denver is 5200 feet (1 mile high) above sea level, and some visitors may feel the effects of the altitude. We encourage you to drink plenty of water to help you adjust to the altitude! The weather conditions at this time of year can range from near 0 degrees with snow to sunshine and 70 degrees. Even though Denver experiences 300 plus days of sunshine and a year, please be prepared for extremes.
