Quad RugbyInvite - Heat Rave

Dear Team Representative:

The Phoenix Heat, in conjunction with Mesa Adaptive Sports for the Disabled, St. Joseph’s Hospital, The David Reese Foundation and Abil are preparing for the 2006 Heat Rave. This year’s tournament will be held February 2-4 2007. The Heat Rave will be a six-team round robin tournament.

The Heat Rave is a division one/two tournament. My hopes are to bring in some of the best rugby teams in the USQRA and abroad. Please respond ASAP (and let me know if you will be bringing a ref) to reserve your spot!

Team registration fees are $350.00 U.S. for up to ten members including coaches, support, etc. Each additional member will be $25.00 each. Registered players and support will receive tournament give away items and lunch meals. Teams bringing approved referees will only be charged a $300.00 registration fee. Registration forms and fees must be received by January 4th.

Competition will take place at the Mesa Broadway Recreation Center located at the following address:

We have reserved a rate of $109 per night for standard doubles. This does include breakfast each morning. The group code name is wheelchair rugby tournament. This rate will be reserved until January 11th.

Transportation from airport to hotel and hotel to venue will be provided to registered team members only. Airport transportation will not be provided to teams that turn in flight information after January 20th. Teams that want airport to hotel transportation MUST TRAVEL TOGETHER and arrive at Phoenix International Airport between the hours of 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
