Tuscon or Utah (proposed) - 2/20 We Have Winners! The First Annual USQRA Fund Raising Raffle came to a successful close on Saturday - January 3rd. After almost 6 months of creative selling by the participants, profits have now been counted and the winning tickets drawn. The lucky winners were Robert Hollister of Oregon City, Oregon and Eric Roberts of Irwindale, California. Additionally, Team X of California will have next seasons USQRA dues paid for them for having sold the most raffle tickets. The USQRA organized raffle was designed to help players and teams raise money to support some of the many financial needs they have related to rugby. As a result of the raffles success money was also generated for the USQRA that will eventually be put towards the production of a much needed Quad Rugby Promotional Video. Preparations are already underway to make next seasons raffle even bigger and better. Special thanks go out to SPORTAID and UROMED for their support in this project. Their continued support of quad rugby and the USQRA is truly appreciated!
